Parks & Facilities Department

Cascade Township boasts seven beautiful parks, each offering different features to explore. The Township also contains approximately 17 miles of pedestrian pathways for use year-round.

The Parks & Facilities Department is responsible for overseeing strategic and operational management, development, maintenance and landscaping of all Cascade Township parks, cemeteries, buildings, pedestrian pathways, Village streetscapes, and open spaces, as well as related recreational activities. Tasks include mowing, watering, weeding, pruning, trash collection (for the parks and throughout the Village), planting flowers, snow plowing and removal, maintenance of irrigation systems, and upkeep of Village decorations. They even maintain the department's vehicles and equipment. P & F also inspects, corrects, and reports safety hazards within the Township.
