Sign up to be part of Cascade Township's Pickleball Clinic for beginners. Every Tuesday at 6 pm beginning May 19-June 9 at Cascade Recreation Park (3810 Thornapple River Dr SE). Cost is $50. Space is limited. To register, click here.

Seniors and walking enthusiasts are invited to take part in Cascade Township’s new Walking Club! The group will meet at 10 am at the Cascade Recreation Park bathrooms and walk the one-mile loop up to three times.

Concerts in Cascade is a free, family-friendly music series taking place throughout the summer at Friendship Park.
Concerts will be held on four Thursday evenings: May 14, June 25, July 23, and August 20, with performances beginning at 7 pm under the Friendship Park pavilion, located at 2870 Jacksmith Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, outside the Cascade Library. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of live music in a relaxed, outdoor setting.
In addition to the concerts, food will be available for purchase from local food trucks at each event. Guests are also welcome to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

May 14 – Mark Dvorak
A Chicago-based folk singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and educator, Mark has released 16 albums with a career spanning over 30 years. -
June 25 – Windbreakers
A prominent Yacht Rock tribute band known for performing “hardcore smooth” hits from the late 70s and early 80s. -
July 23 – Rin Tarsy and Mandarin
A soulful folk duo featuring singer-songwriter Rin Tarsy and Mandy Gaddy, known for performing in Michigan. They blend heartfelt, honest songwriting with warm, intimate sounds. -
August 20 - Blue Water Kings Band
A premium, highly customizable live music 12-person ensemble specializing in high-energy performances throughout the Midwest.

Join us at Cascade's Recreation Park for a fun, family-friendly event! The Easter Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 10 am, and we encourage everyone to arrive early, as the hunt happens fast. Be sure to bring your own basket to collect eggs.
After the hunt, families can enjoy a visit with the Easter Bunny and play with real bunnies. This free event is open to all ages, and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Families are invited to celebrate the end of summer at a free event filled with fun. Kids can cool off under the firetruck spray, enjoy music by Bruce Taylor, and bounce around in the inflatable play area. The Kent County Sheriff's Department will be on-site, and Culver’s will be handing out free ice cream.
Snacks and water will be available while supplies last. No registration is needed.
