PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Cascade Charter Township Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 12, 2021 commencing at 7:00pm at the Cascade Township Branch of Kent District Library -Wisner Center, 2870 Jacksmith Dr, Grand Rapids, Ml, 49546.
The item(s) to be considered at this public hearing are:
- Pursuant to section 15 of the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, MCL 125.3815(9), the removal of Craig Meurlin from the Township Planning Commission upon written charges approved by the Township Board on December 15, 2021 and attached hereto.
Mr. Meurlin may appear personally or by agent or attorney and will have an opportunity to be heard concerning the written charges. In its discretion, the Board may also receive oral or written comments from any interested persons concerning the foregoing. Written comments may be sent to the Cascade Township Clerk at the Township Hall at any time during regular business hours up to the hearing.
Cascade Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed material being considered at the hearing, to individuals with disabilities at the hearing upon four (4) days' notice to the Cascade Township Clerk.
