Cascade Road from 36th Street to Whitneyville Avenue
Cascade Road Property Owner/Business/Resident:
The Kent County Road Commission is planning to reconstruct Cascade Road from 36th Street to Whitneyville Avenue during 2022.
This project will upgrade Cascade Road to an all-season roadway, widen and provide a center turn lane. Work includes tree removal, earthwork, widening, grading, sand subbase, aggregate base, concrete curb, asphalt paving, pavement markings and restoration.
We have scheduled an open house project information meeting on
Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., at the Wisner Center/KDL Cascade Branch location at 2870 Jacksmith Avenue SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
The purpose of the open house is to provide property owners and businesses with an opportunity to review and comment on this proposed road project. Representatives of the road commission will be present to answer questions about the proposed construction.
