At their Wednesday, Aug. 23 meeting, the Cascade Board of Trustees voted to approve a four-month agreement with statewide nonprofit Hope Network to run a customized fixed route bus service to and from major employers in the Cascade Downtown Development Authority (DDA) area beginning the morning of Monday, Aug. 28.

The Grand Valley Metropolitan Council (GVMC) is updating their 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and would like input from area residents to identify regional transportation priorities. The MTP outlines funding and priorities for all modes of transportation for the next 25 years.

GVMC is seeking input through a survey. Communities with the highest resident participation rates will be entered to win a beautification grant that will provide trees or green infrastructure within the selected community!
