Job Description

Cascade Charter Township is accepting applications for the position of Building Official. The Building Official is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the building inspections department and ensuring compliance with all building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing codes.

High School diploma (minimum 18 years of age)
Minimum fine (5) years of inspection or code enforcement and three (3) years of supervisory experience.
State of Michigan Registration as a building official, building inspector and plan reviewer
Valid Michigan Driver’s License.

Salary is up to $78,257 to $107,124 based on qualifications and experience; with comprehensive benefits.
