Cemeteries
Cascade Township owns and maintains three cemeteries; Cascade
Cemetery at 7200 30th Street, Snow Cemetery at 3131 Snow Avenue and
Whitneyville Cemetery at 5601 Whitneyville Avenue. The Clerk's Office
administers the cemeteries and Buildings and Grounds personnel perform
all maintenance.
A current resident of Cascade Township qualifies for two burial
sites at no cost. These sites are assigned at the time of need.
One may be reserved for the surviving spouse. The family is
responsible for charges related to opening and closing of the
site.
A New Option In Burials
 The township has recently purchased and
installed a columbarium at the Cascade Cemetery. This new option
for cremation burial is available for Township residents at the time
of need. Our first columbarium has 32 niches with two cremations
allowed per niche in specified urns. The brass name plaques will
be engraved and installed by Lowell Granite. We invite you to
drive through the 30th Street cemetery and take a look at this lovely
addition to the peaceful Meditation Garden area at the southeast end.
